Known as “NOLO” aka the “Warehouse District”, this vibrant area is where historic charm meets cutting-edge culture, and every block invites you to stay a little longer. From the 1800s through the 1930s, Minneapolis was a booming hub for milling, manufacturing, and distribution as the city grew alongside the opening of the Dakota Territory to settlers. Today, the North Loop’s iconic brick warehouses tell a new story—one shaped by a thriving fashion, design, and food scene.
